The colors: For me are original, the contrast of this brown with the semi white background is smooth some how .. and not balanced in other way .. smooth because the semi brown color is still light, the semi white is light also but they make contrast. that is what i mean by smooth. un balanced alittle because the semi brown frame is seems naked through all these textures .. if u were really that brave designer .. i were prefer if u made the sharp edges more rounded, or even made by texture.


the black is makeing higher contrast, u were better avoide going to sick black inthe background where there it should be the last message to be seen... the rest of design are ok for me. but i think the grafics is more representive for calligraphy not typography.. i always feel typography is an art which make the calligraphy more easier in reading.. so to make a calligraphy elemnt may makes the reader confused.. if i were u i would use the same calligraphic element, but i will make it more typografic.. may be by makeing it made of shartp and round gemortic curves, and may be also by makeing out lines and guide lines for it.. to give the feel of technology and geometry.

i like ur selecting of the texture, it is rich, the elemnts of this textures are alittle large.. u know every texture is made by some shapes ..the shapes were larger than caps.. that make some drop for the eye.
the thing i like as a thinking point, is how u tried to make the calligraphic symbol being all a line for reading inside the CD

well, it is a good thinking, but let's talk about the function, u remember niveller brody when he said the length of the type line shouldn't be more than 10.3 or 10.4 cm after that the eye makes drop in reading

u forgot this point, also u made alot of hard areas for reading by putting text over each others.. if u reply me saying: hey u dont know the language.. it is a texture of text not a reading text. i will say the texture were not the best.. but i still like and respect the idea.
